activation link on wordpress?

I got your free auto responder and i installed but i am not able to pass the
step 4
i am using wordpress.
I did put my activation link some where on my index.php file and didn't work when i try to access the admin site.
so, the question where exactly should be placed the activation link when you say at "entry page" where is that? where exactly should go the link in the file?

is in the index.php?
the video was not clear enough to see where you putting the links....please clarify ...thanks

You can include the activation link under "links" inside WP, or anywhere in your index page.
