I installed a couple of times. First I used the auto mode with ftp and couldn't even see the admin login, it took me to one of your pages. I deleted all the tables from the database and started over, this time forcing ascii mode for ftp. It would appear that FileZilla is seeing some file it thinks should be binary.
This time I was taken to the admin login page after install, but when I enter the password I don't go to the control panel, instead I see a page that says Preview: {subject} at the top and {mess} on the left (preview.html). I know the password is correct because I don't get the password error message. I also verified it in the database and did a copy and paste just to make sure.
I've searched the forum, and spent some time evaluating the scripts, but have not yet discovered why this should be happening. It would appear that subject and mess variables are not being parsed.
Where do I go from here? I'm missing something, but not sure what. :confused:
