I am using AMLM Pro and I have set-up all my autoresponders and I have been testing them out. I have an issue with my emails going into spam, even with clients that have me in their address book if I send them as html.
Here is an example of my testing and what happens:
If I send an email with the word "testing" in the text area of the message form it is received fine at the other end and is not spammed.
If I send an email with the word "testing" in the html area of the email it is also received fine at the other end and is not spammed.
If I send an email with html code around the word, such as "< p >testing spam< / p >" (note I have had to add spacing around the p of the code so it shows in the email, otherwise it becomes a pragraph and you can't see the code), in the html area of the email it now goes into the spam folder after it is sent.
Anytime I add any html <> code my emails are affected by spam. I plan to send my emails as html so that I have freedom over the fonts and font size, bolding, etc. However, this will create spam problems.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can overcome this problem with the html emails? Is there a code I can add to the top of an email that might solve this?
