FMLP is an awesome software - I just cannot say enough positive things about it.

However, today was the first time I needed to attach multiple files to the email going out of FMLP.

I realized I can only attach 1 file.

Now, I know there are workarounds such as:
(1)just putting a url to a page on my website that has these files
(2)Zipping multiple files together into 1 zip file

However, from the aspect of getting prospects to view these attachments, I see 3 detractors to the above workarounds:
*Too many steps for the prospect to jump through
**People are conditioned not to click URL's in emails as a security precaution
***Many people amazingly don't have the basic software to open up pdf's let alone zip files.

Asking a prospect to download new software to view attachments like zip files is generally going to yield low results.

A great future improvement would be to allow for multiple attachments.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Attached files can also contain viruses etc.

I figured out that you can actually attach multiple files using the following procedure:

Create a message, attach a single file then click save

Open up the message again and attach another file and click save.

Repeat until all files are attached.

Note - You will also be able to delete the files at the top of the message (near the subject line)

Conclusion - No need to zip multiple files as they can be attached seperately. Just would have been nice to attach all and save simultaneously.

Note: If your browser hangs on attaching a file, it can be caused by a problematic file. For example, I combined 4 pdf's into 1 pdf file. This file was over 1 mb. No problem based on size, but it did cause my browser to hang several times.
