Send Subscribe Message Activation

I managed to activate the 1st newsletter by placing the activation link:

in the subscriber.htm HTML, however I don't want the 1st newsletter sent until the user gets to the optin.htm page.

I created a Send subscribe message with a link to the optin.htm page & placed the activation link in the optin.htm HTML. The problem is the Send subscribe message does not go out. How can I activate the Send subscribe message, without activating the 1st newsletter as well?

Putting the activation link in subscriber.htm is not recommended!

You should put it on another page with traffic.

When I use the activation link to trigger the Send subscribe message, it triggers the first newsletter which is set to go at 0 days, so both the Send subscribe message & the newsletter arrives in my email together. I want to set up double opt-in.

Putting the activation link in subscriber.htm will not work.

The double optin feature is available in the Pro version.

There is no need to do the way you did.
