I do not understand what the activation link is for, or how it works. If I place the link below:

img src=http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/amlm/starter.cgi

on a web-page, a broken image marker appears on the page. Surely it should be of the form:

img src=http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/amlm/image.jpg

& a corresponding 1 pixel image, should be placed on the server.

Do these pages (subscriber.htm, removal.htm, optin.htm, form.htm) go in the cgi-bin folder? I put them there at first but trying to access one, I got "Internal Server Error", so I moved them to the public_html folder. I tried a test subscription & was taken to the optin.htm page & added to the mailing list, however I did not receive the 1st newsletter, which I set to go out 0 days after subscription.

A1. Read the sticky and other posts in this forum on how to include the activation link.

A2. Please put subscriber.htm, removal.htm, optin.htm, form.htm outside the cgi-bin.
