Hello All,

I'm a complete novice when it comes to web developing although i have a fairly good technical knowledge.
I'm trying to set this FMLP Lite version up on my web host to try it out.
I've uploaded all the files to the CGI-Bin folder.
When i try accessing the Install.cgi file from the web browser it does not display the install.cgi script but rather gives m,e the option to download the file. I'm assuming that's not how its meant to work and i should be seeing some sort of configuration screen.
I've checked to ensure that Perl is running on the server and i even tried adding the -w switch as mentioned on these forums. However, it tells me to download the file and it does not actually run the file in the web browser.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The most likely cause is wrong installation or problem with your server configuration. The easiest way to find out is to install on a different server.
