Hi Dr. Quek,

I have your auto-responder and love it. I use it to respond to Yahoo hot jobs job seekers.

The problem is now that hot Jobs sends the applicant's resume with a header of:

From: admin@hotjobs.com
Reply To: the applicant's email address.

How do I use your auto-responder to capture and use the 'reply to' address?

Chris.

Hi Chris,

I received your email and phone message tonight.

Presumably you are using the "Allow subscribing by sending blank email" feature to accept email (and not the HTML Form feature)?

That's why your FMLP Pro capture "admin@hotjobs.com" as the subscriber.

One way to get around the problem is:

You use your webhost's autoresponder to reply to the applicant.

Your autoresponder will reply to the "Reply To" email address. So it will reach the right person.

In the email you include a link to subscribe to the HTML form or use a blank email to allow them to subscribe personally.

In doing so, you allow them to subscribe to your newsletter.

Give them an incentive like free ebook to subscribe.

Note it is important you used the double optin feature to avoid spamming.

It is not ethical to subsribe applicants into your mailing list as they have not personally optin to your list.

The email is being forwarded by admin@hotjobs.com without the applicant's consent.
