This is a question by John sent to me via email.
I have posted it here to share with everyone:

Dear Dr Quek,

For some reason, our autoresopnders stopped working around 21 September.

As I have done nothing on the server, I wondered if you had stopped them for any reason? The domains ate www.realestatebuyquick.com (http://www.realestatebuyquick.com/) and www.realestatesellquick.com (http://www.realestatesellquick.com/).

Is there anything else that would stop them working, eg, changing email messages, or frequency at which they are sent, etc?

If so, is there any way to restart them? Thanks!

John Steadman

Hi John,

There are a few possibilities why your autoresponder stopped working.

Let me help you to resolve this step by step.

First of all, please check with your web host to see if the cron is still running.

Your autoresponder may have stopped working because your cron ceased functioning.

And crons can stop working due to many reasons.

Please post here whether this helps.

There could be other reasons too and I will suggest more in my next reply.

i add one more reason

1. Check your server log, maybe it's DOWN at that time. Try to ping your server or try to email the admin of your hosting provider

Thanks

Yes, this is another possibility- the server could be down.

You can check your server log or ping your server.

Go to command prompt and type:

ping yourdomain.com

then ping yahoo.com

and see whether both return similar messages.

If so, then your server is up.

Also, check your FMLP Pro STATISTICS/LOG.
