View Full Version : Subscribe Message Not Sending
Yesterday I installed Autoresponder Lite and put the activation link on the webpage. However, I am still unable to get the subscribe message to send. I have tested this several times and even waited to see if there would be a delay. The user subscription information is being sent to the subscription manager but no message is being sent. Do you have any suggestions on getting this to work?

There is no traffic to your webpage to activate the 1 pixel link. As a result, your FMLP Lite is not activated to send out messages.
You can manually activate it by typing this into your browser:
http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/fmlplite/starter.cgi
Thank you for your response. I tried that to ensure that the starter.cgi activation link was correctly pointed to the cgi-bin and yesterday I put the activation link on another domain page that had 34 hits yesterday. Is it possible that the error is due to the mail server? I did test the performance of the server through the administration area and received the following:
messages per minute: 1800
messages per hour: 108000.
It appears as though the email server is working and I'm receiving the emails on that end but still nothing on the subscribe message to the new user.

I gather from you that the test send messages feature works.
But you are not sending out real sequential messages.
You mentioned there is actual click on the activation page.
Let me try to help you step by step:
1. Make sure you have pasted the HTML messages correctly.
2. Make sure you have included the 1 pixel activation link.
If in doubt, type the starter.cgi into your browser manually.
3. Check that you have set up the permission to all the files correctly.
Check any missing files. If in double install from fresh (since this is a free Lite version, you may install as many times as you like.)
I assured you your problem is quite unusual.
You need to be analytical and patient, and I will help you resolve this together.
